Polish striker Robert Lewandowski said after the win over Benfica (4-5) in the Champions League that the victory is "important" for the future of FC Barcelona, who go straight through to the last 16, but he was also self-critical of the Catalan side's defensive play.
"We have to learn how to play better defensively and also offensively. There is something we lack and that is that we need to be more focused," explained the striker after the game, who analysed the importance of the direct passage to the last 16, as they have secured a top-eight finish with a game to spare.
For Lewandowski it is important not to have to play the two matches in the last 16, after a game that for the Polish striker "was crazy".
"In the future, we have to play not only with patience, but also with more ease and control of the game. But the most important thing is that we won," said the Poland international.
