Barcelona's Robert Lewandowski assured that his team not only wants to win the upcoming LaLiga EA Sports matches against Atletico Madrid and Girona, two direct rivals in the top half of the table, but also aspires to "play better" than in recent weeks.
The Polish striker, speaking to the club's media, described Sunday's clash against Diego Simeone's side as "very important", an opponent that, according to him, "defends very well and is very good at attacking" and who have "good" players.
"We are Barca and we're playing at home. From the first minute we have to play very well, attack, and score goals", said the former Bayern Munich player, who considered that the next two games against Atletico and Girona will be "a challenge" for the squad.
"We must take a step forward. The season is very long, and we want to win every game to conquer La Liga. That's why we have to get six points in the next two matches against rivals at the top of the league," he added.
Lewandowski encouraged Barca fans to come to the Estadio Olimpico de Montjuic for the next two games. "With our fans it can be easier," he concluded.
