Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma said he is "proud" to have Kylian Mbappe, who has yet to announce his future, as a teammate and expressed his wish for many years to come.
"Kylian will make the best decision, he always gives his best in every training session, in every game, we are proud to have him here and we hope to have him for a long time," he told reporters.
Kylian Mbappe scored the opener as Paris Saint-Germain took a big step towards reaching the Champions League quarter-finals with a 2-0 win over Real Sociedad in the first leg of their last-16 tie on Wednesday.
"In the first half, we had difficulties, Real Sociedad play very well, they press very well and created problems for us. But, in the second half, we played a better game, we scored two extraordinary and very important goals for the second leg," Donnarumma said of his team's victory.
The goalkeeper said that coach Luis Enrique told them to take more risks with the ball and that was "key" to the victory: "Real are a team that plays well, that presses well, we knew that would be the case. But, in the second half, the coach told us something and the team improved, and we were able to rectify that."
