"We just killed ourselves" - Ibrahimovic addresses Milan's Champions League exit

The second legs of the Champions League play-offs played on Tuesday produced two big surprises. Both AC Milan and Atalanta were eliminated by Feyenoord and Brugge respectively, clubs that started out as underdogs.
While in the case of 'La Dea', the Belgian club was far superior to the Italian club and eliminated them with a convincing victory, the match between the 'Rossoneri' and the Dutch team was much more closely contested.
In fact, everything started off well for the home side, but a second yellow card to Theo Hernandez for diving changed the game and the visitors managed to equalize in the second half to book a ticket to the round of 16.
After the match, Milan senior advisor and former striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic said that Feyenoord were not superior to them and that the referee was wrong to give Theo Hernandez a second yellow card.
"Feyenoord were not better than us, we just killed ourselves. We are disappointed, the referee has been severe with Theo Hernández with no warning before the red card… Theo is not an actor, he does his best," he told 'Sky'.
