Manchester City are going through a difficult time. Pep Guardiola's side are in the midst of a negative spiral of results after a run of seven games without a win, which has seen them lose ground in the Champions League and the Premier League.
It all started with the visit to Tottenham on 30 October. The Sky Blues were knocked out by the Londoners in the last 16 of the EFL Cup, and subsequently lost to Bournemouth, Sporting Lisbon, Brighton and Liverpool. There was a draw along the way, against a Feyenoord side who were able to score two late goals to turn a 3-1 deficit into a 3-3 draw.
Manchester City are aware that things are not going well, but they are not losing faith while there is still a chance of a comeback. Erling Haaland, who has scored just three goals in this winless stretch, delivered a motivational message to his supporters on Monday.
"We’ve seen better days before, and we’ll see them again. We keep believing," he wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
