It was a tough result to swallow for Chelsea in their home loss against Aston Villa as Graham Potter's men certainly deserved something out of the game during the 90 minutes, but they ended up going home empty handed.
After his side's defeat, Graham Potter spoke in the press room and said what he thought about the game: "The stats are positive, I think the side gave everything, the intention was there", the ex-Brighton manager said. "I'm responsable for the result, the guys gave it all once more", he added.
About the tough loss at Stamford Bridge, Potter clarified: "We've got to accept the result and do better. We can't feel sorry for ourselves. We've got a great game against Liverpool to make up for it".
"We need the support of the fans on Tuesday", he concluded by requesting big support from the Blues when they welcome the Reds.
Despite all that, journalist Fabrizio Romano claimed that, despite having the backing of the side's board, Chelsea are still thinking about replacing Potter with Julian Nagelsmann this summer.
