Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen said on Sunday that "it is very difficult" to win at the Metropolitano against Atletico Madrid and remarked on his goal of reaching the 'Clasico' against Real Madrid with options to compete for La Liga title.
"In the end, it's about doing your job, which, like today's, is more complicated. It was a very tense and important match for both teams. We want to get to the 'Clasico' with the possibility of playing a good game and getting in there," he said on 'DAZN'.
"Very good, very happy. In the end it's a very complicated game. Winning here is very difficult and we did it in a spectacular way," explained the goalkeeper, who feels "very good on a personal level", but is "very happy for the team" because of the clean sheet: "In the end, we all defend. You could see it in the last few games. It's an achievement for the team".
He also spoke about Joao Felix. "It's a special game. I haven't seen him during the week with other feelings. I've seen him the same, even better. He did well today," he said of the Portuguese.
