"We're in talks with Messi over a new contract"

Paris Saint-Germain advisor Luis Campos claimed that the Parisian club are negotiating with Leo Messi over his renewal deal, as his contract runs out at the end of the currnet season.

Paris Saint-Germain want to keep Leo Messi. The Argetinian's contract is up at the end of the current season and is now free to negotiate with any club.
PSG advisor Luis Campos claimed that the club are already in talks with the man from Rosario. "We're in talks over him extending", he said in an interview with Telefoot'.
"I'd like to keep him in this project, I can't hide that. We're talking at the moment to make it happen and to keep him with us", Luis Campo added.
He also highlighted the leadership the Argentine has: "I remember something I said to Messi during the half-time break against Montpellier: 'You've got to drag all the others with you'. He answered: 'Calm'. And he had a great second half".
Another one of the name mentioned was Neymar's. When asked about his attitude, he said that since he arrived in Paris, he has not had "any criticism to make" about the Brazilian.
"He's always punctual, always up for it. This Neymar is an incredible Neymar", he added about the Brazilian, who has been out for the last two games.
Another one of the players out is Mbappe: "Losing him is of course hard. He was very sad about his injury. But I also saw him working to speed up his recovery as quick as possible. That is a winner's mentality".
"Ziyech? We did everything we could. But like in every transfer, the three parts have to work. It worked with PSG, with Ziyech, but unfortunately at the last minute it didn't work with Chelsea", Luis Campos explained about the Moroccan's non-arrival.
