West Ham targeting Palhinha as Rice's replacement

West Ham chairman David Sullivan has confirmed captain Declan Rice will be sold during the summer transfer window. As a result, the Hammers are already looking for a replacement.
The English midfieder has been outstanding with his performances this campaign, scoring five goals and providing three assists in 50 competitive matches. Both Arsenal and Manchester United, among other clubs, are interested in him.
According to the 'Daily Mail', Moyes' side are keeping an eye on Joao Palhinha, who currently plays for Fulham. The Portuguese is being targeted by several clubs such as Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool.
The same media outlet reports that the Cottagers could ask for 20 million pounds as they paid the same to Sporting CP to sign him. The reigning Conference League champions are also considering Manchester City's Kalvin Phillips to replace Declan Rice.
