Barcelona player Robert Lewandowski spoke to the media after scooping his second Golden Boot. The Polish striker was asked about his sending off, and about his controversial gesticulations towards to the bench, to which the striker responded that they were not for Gil Manzano, but for Xavi.

Barcelona will be top of the league during the World Cup break. Xavi's players got past Osasuna, including a come back, to end up top of the leaderboard no matter what Real Madrid do against Cadiz.
However, there was some controversy. In the 30' minute of the game, Robert Lewandowski was given his second yellow after colliding with David Garcia, giving him an arm to the face.
However, the argument did not stop there. While leaving for the changing rooms, the Pole made several gestures touching his nose, which were misinterpreted on social media.
Despite explaining the reasons behind, and the meaning of the gestures, the striker wanted to clear it up in front of the press after winning his Golden Boot: "Why will I get a four game ban if the gesture was not aimed at the ref or linesmen? The gesture I made was not for the fourth official, but for Xavi".
"We had spoken about if they give us a yellow, we had to be careful with the second", Lewandowski insisted that he did not mean to, at any time, look down on Gil Manzano.
