Wojciech Szczesny LANDS in Barcelona

Barcelona are close to securing a replacement for their first choice goalkeeper Ter Stegen, who will miss the rest of the season after suffering a serious knee injury against Villarreal in the ‘Cules’ last game in La Liga.
Former Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny decided to retire at the end of last season and finish Euro 2024, but after the Catalan giants knocked on his door to sign him as a replacement for the German goalkeeper for this season the Pole did not hesitate to put the gloves back on.
On Monday morning, the Poland international was spotted by ‘Jijantes’ landing in Malaga, where he caught a flight to Barcelona, where he is expected to sign a one-year contract with the ‘Cules’.
Hours later, the former Arsenal goalkeeper was filmed inside a black van by ‘Jijantes’ on his way to pass his medical before officially becoming a Barcelona player, who will soon announce his arrival in a statement.
