There's less than a week to go until the showdown between Real Madrid and Manchester City in the Champions League semi-final. Without going into more detail, the English side have recieved a good bit of news ahead of the first leg, to be played on the 9th May at the Santiago Bernabeu.
In a video posted online, the Sky Blues showed that Kevin de Bruyne had got over his muscle injury and that he had returned to training with the rest of the side. Phil Foden, for examply, was the one to welcome him back.
Therefore, everything seems to indicate that the Belgian, who is a key part in Pep Guardiola's side, will be ready to start the first leg against Real Madrid in the Spanish capital.
Before playing this crucial game, City will be going up against Leeds United in the Premier League, but everything is pointing to the midfielder being left out in order to save himself for the Champions League.
So far this season, De Bruyne has scored a total of 9 goals and got 24 assists, the most part being for Erling Haaland. Therefore, the midfielder's return will be decisive for Guardiola, while worrying for Carlo Ancelotti.
