Pedri is one of the emerging talents in the world of football. The Barca midfielder, just 19, analysed several topics since his arrival at Barcelona in an interview with 'El Pais' 'Icon' magazine.
"I'm a very sore loser, even in video games. I never play as the FIFA version of Pedri because I'm terrible and I drive myself to despair. If I'm going to lose, I'd rather do so with Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo."
Something which he did not forget about was when he almost signed for Real Madrid: "I think so. My ambition was to become a professional footballer and it would have been very difficult to reject the offer from one of the greats in the history of this sport."
"That train passed and two years later, I ended up signing for the team of my dreams. That of my family and of my first footballing idol, Andres Iniesta. I've always said it, I've been a Barca fan since I was a kid."
It is just over two weeks until the start of the World Cup and Pedri thought about the chance of reaching the final and Iniesta's goal: "I went crazy with Iniesta's goal. I'd be lying if I told you I hadn't been thinking about it. They're things that occur to you, of course, but it's better not to get obsessed."
"You have to play the first game, then the second and continue like that and see how far we are capable of going. If it's the final and we end up winning it, I won't mind who scores the winning goal because I'll g even crazier than with Andres' goal," he continued.
In addition, he spoke about the Dutch national team, in which his teammate De Jong plays: "He always tells me that he's very excited to play in this World Cup, that they have a very strong team and that they are going to shock everyone. I've already told him not to forget about us."
