Barcelona fell to a 1-0 defeat at Almeria and couldn't put themselves ten points above Real Madrid. It was a game in which Xavi appeared very tense and annoyed from start to finish.
The Barca coach spoke for his players before the game and said that getting knocked out of the Europa League wouldn't affect them, but things couldn't have been further from the truth. Proof of the game's tension was the rant he had at Busquets and Gavi.
As for the first player, the manager had a go at him after he lost the ball in midfield. It was a move which made Xavi demand more intensity and the captain defended himself by coming back at him, both making gesticulations.
The second one was for Gavi, for an error which led to a fatal goal, resulting in the hosts getting the lead. Little before the 30 minute mark, Rodrigo Ely stole the ball of the academy graduate, and the home side went on to score. He was annoyed until the end of the game and it went to show the importance of the game.
