Xavi refused to answer Ancelotti: "This is not about him..."
Carlo Ancelotti did not find it "professional" that Xavi questioned the integrity of La Liga. The Barcelona coach was asked after the win over Alaves if he wanted to respond to the Italian, but said he has a good relationship with him and that his war has nothing to do with that.

Things are hotting up in La Liga. Refereeing mistakes are on everyone's lips and even the big teams have become embroiled in a fierce battle.
According to Xavi and Laporta, La Liga is corrupted. "Even a blind man can see it...", said the Barcelona coach. Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti disagrees and defended the integrity of the domestic competition, hitting out at the 'Cule' coach. "I'm not going to answer, I won't go down to that level. It's not professional," he said.
After Barcelona beat Alaves, Xavi went to the press conference and the journalists gave him the option to reply to the Italian, but he did not want to. "I have a very good relationship with Ancelotti, maybe he felt pressured by my words..." he said with a smile.
Xavi refused to get into the fray: "I really have nothing to say to him, this is not about him. I have all my respect for Ancelotti, that's all I need".
What he did talk about was, of course, the refereeing, which he didn't like at all and believes he has an explanation for so many unfavourable decisions against his team. "We are now paying for the 'Negreira affaire'," he said.
