According to 'El Partidazo de COPE' on Tuesday, neither Joao Felix nor Carrasco are of interest to Barcelona to replace Ousmane Dembele, who is about to leave for PSG. The Catalans will look to the market to find a replacement for the French winger, but Xavi Hernandez has discarded the possibility of either of the Atletico Madrid players.

Barcelona will look to the transfer market to find a replacement for Ousmane Dembele. The Frenchman has one foot in the door at Paris Saint-Germain and the winger position will become, according to 'El Partidazo de COPE', as much of a priority for Xavi Hernandez as right-back and midfielder.
However, and although the search has recently begun, there are already two names that have not made the cut. The aforementioned source reports Joao Felix and Carrasco, both Atletico Madrid players who have been linked with the Catalan club, to be out of the running.
In the case of the Portuguese, Xavi Hernandez is clear that it is not the profile he wants to replace Dembele. He wants a player who starts on the wing, but with a taste for link-up play, for going towards the center and with more similarities to a classic playmaker.
It is true that Barca knows they could count on the young Portuguese star, who said publicly that his dream would be to wear the 'cule' jersey, but he will not be the chosen one.
Neither will be his teammate Carrasco. Apparently, he does not convince either the coaching staff or the club itself, who previously had the option to buy the Spaniard for 19 million euros, but chose not to exercise it.
