"Xavi's become the king of football"

Frank Rijkaard spoke to Barcelona's official media ahead of the 'Cule' Foundation's visit to Amsterdam to go up against Ajax-Only Friends in a friendly game.
The ex-Barcelona boss showed his admiration for the man who currently occupies the Camp Nou's home dugout, Xavi Hernandez: "I've got great memories of Xavi, he's become the king of football. I'm really happy for him to see the team well on its way to winning La Liga".
Frank Rijkaard also spoke to Barcelona President Joan Laporta: "I'm also really happy for President Joan Laporta, who we work together with. It's a pleasure to see that together, they're achieving great things".
The Dutchman fondly remembered his spell at the side: "It was an honour to have worked there and they've have a good season. Winning the Spanish Super Cup is a massive thing in its own right, and I hope that shortly we'll see Barca crowned as La Liga champions once again".
