A shot straight into the far corner. That is how the first edition of the new Champions Leauge era is inaugurated, and it has Kenan Yildiz's name on it.
The Turkish forward took it upon him to welcome the new format with a stunning strike against PSV. The 19-year-old gave Juventus the lead to put the scoreline at 1-0 after 20 minute of gametimne at the Juventus Stadium.
The number 10 was served on the right, putting him in a 1v1 situation with PSV's Ledezma, who backed off to not get beated by the 'Bianconero' youngster.
Yildiz cut back inside, setting the ball on his right foot to send it straight into the far corner of the goal, touching the right post of Joël Drommel before going in.
