Valencia captain Jose Luis Gaya gave an interview to 'Marca' ahead of Real Madrid's return to the Mestalla stadium. A reunion that seems tense after the racist controversy towards Vinicius Jr from the Valencia fans.
"I thought it was very unfair the way Valencia have been treated. I've been here for ten years and nothing like that has ever happened. It's true that there were four or five fans who made fools of themselves but Valencia have acted in the best way they can act which is to kick them out.
"Those people will not be able to return to the stadium, but I think Valencia and the city and all the people are an example of the fans in everything. You can't say that Valencia fans are racist because four or five imbeciles did that. I think it's very unfair," he said.
