Gary Neville does not mince his words when it comes to criticising Manchester United, the club he loves. On this occasion, the former player lashed out at Rúben Amorim after the defeat to Tottenham.

Manchester United are in the midst of a crisis that is about to lead them to the worst season in their Premier League history. Amorim's side are fortunate that the relegation places are more than 10 points away, but they are determined to prove their critics right.
After losing to fellow strugglers Totttenham, Gary Neville targeted Ruben Amorim, who he said had "dug his own grave" in the Red Devils' dugout.
"There is nothing on the pitch, either in results or performance, that tells me we are looking at a really good team. This Manchester United is a very poor team, but even being poor, there are ways of being poor to make it look better," Neville said on “Sky Sports”.
"He's dug his own grave when he said very early on that he wasn't going to change his mind. Now he can't. In a way it's a problem because, with the 11 players he had against Tottenham, he had a better way of introducing them into a system that would have made them feel more comfortable. Now he can't change because of what he said before. The performance levels are nowhere near good enough and he will know that," he said.
