In the press conference prior to the Osasuna meeting, Carlo Ancelotti praised the academty player and explained why he likes him so much: Alvaro Rodriguez is doing things well. He was in the South American Under 20 Championship and that is why he was not in the last few squad lists, but now he's back. He's a different type of player: tall and well built."
Alvaro Rodriguez is 1.93 metres tall and is working to nail down a place at Real Madrid. It seems like Raul could soon lose this young talent if it is confirmed that he will make the step up to the first team for next season.
