Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti described the 5-1 win over Valencia on Saturday 11th November as "the best game of the season", highlighting his side's performance after the first 15 minutes "in which they could have defended better".
"It was our best game. Valencia didn't show their best level because we played a very good game. In the first 15 minutes we could have defended a little better and then the game was perfect," he told the press conference.
"In the last three games we have played very well. We lacked a bit of accuracy against Rayo Vallecano, but in the other two we have been a complete team, with quality, solidity, sacrifice, commitment...", he added.
The coach praised Brazilians Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo Goes, who each scored a brace. "They are both back to their best. They needed time to show their best qualities again. In the last two games they have done well and played with extraordinary quality. You can say they are back," he said.
"Vinicius did very well, but I'll focus on the work of the team, who did a great job," he concluded.
