"Ancelotti may be the perfect coach for Madrid"

The football world will come to a standstill to witness the great European clash par excellence: the Champions League semi-final between Bayern Munich and Real Madrid. The Bavarians are in the semi-finals thanks in large part to Joshua Kimmich, who sealed their place in the last four against Arsenal.
The German player, who can play both in midfield and at right-back, analysed the tie against Real Madrid, the figure of coach Carlo Ancelotti and his possible defence of Vinicius.
"I'm not surprised by Ancelotti's success. He's been successful before with the way he's managed. Unfortunately, he wasn't as successful with us, but I know him as a coach. I know the team he has, with a lot of individual quality, a lot of mentality. Maybe he is the perfect coach for this team," Kimmich told 'AS'.
"There was nothing personal with Ancelotti. It was not easy for me to play. When you are young, like I was, you always want to play and compete. In the first season, when you don't play a lot, you think about what is best for the development of your career," said a Kimmich who considered leaving Bayern Munich.
The German, who is likely to be positioned as a right-back again, will have to face Vinicius: "Unfortunately or fortunately, you usually face maybe the best player of the other team if you play as a full-back.
"You get players like Mbappe and Vinicius, two of the best players in European football at the moment. I know Vini is very strong in one-on-one situations. Like Kylian. So I'm happy to face him and compete with him."
"We all have weaknesses and some strengths. I don't want to talk about his weaknesses. Vinicius is a very, very strong player. I have to concentrate, defend and when I have the chance to attack, of course I want to attack. But in the beginning, we have to focus on defending and be focused on our game," he concluded.
