Antony was one of Manchester United's most expensive signings in the last summer rtansfer window. The Mancunian side spent around €100 million to get the Brazilian winger on board who had shone with Ajax.
However, the 22 year old winger is not having a good season with the Red Devil, and has started to receive criticism for recent performances. So far, the Sao Paulo man has played 19 games and has only got five goals.
With this is mind, Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand did not hold back, and criticised Antony for how he played in the last game against Arsenal in the Premier League.
"He doesn't have any strength in his legs. He couldn't even get the better over Thomas Partey when at speed. He's an extremely talented winger, but you need for someone so talented to get the better of his marker".
What is for sure is that the Manchester fans are not fully happy with Antony, especially when you take into account the expectation that his signing generated. However, manager Erik ten Hag is continuing to trust in him.
