Arsenal returned to Premier League action after a poor run before the Christmas period where they were knocked out of the FA Cup by Liverpool. Arteta's side took all three points in a game they dominated from the start.
Magalhaes opened the scoring in the 10th minute with a header from a corner. The Gunners' second came again from a header, when Magalhaes headed a Saka corner from the right flank that hit Henderson and was turned into an own goal.
Later in the second half a terrific counter-attack orchestrated by Raya gave Arteta's side the third. The goalkeeper opened up Gabriel Jesus on the right flank who drove forward and found Trossard with space to beat Henderson.

Martinelli in stoppage time increased the Gunners' lead to 4-0 after a classy finish. Later, again Martinelli beats Henderson after Jorginho received in the middle of the pitch and found the Brazilian in space for another classy finish.
