Arsenal looking for exit routes for 6 players
Arsenal have been very focused on bringing in new signings, but that always means some players need to leave. According to 'Sky Sports', the Gunners are looking to loan or sell six players this season, to make back some of the huge amount they're expected to spend this summer.

Even with some basic calculations, you can see Arsenal are going to spend big this summer. Already having spent £65 million for Kai Havertz, the Gunners are also reportedly very close to finalising deals for West Ham's Declan Rice and Ajax's Jurrien Timber, which will set the London side back around £105 million and £45 million respectively.
With just these three acquisitions, Arsenal are already out over £200 million, which means they need to balance those signings with some sales. According to 'Sky Sports', the Gunners are looking for exit routes for six players: Nicolas Pepe, Folarin Balogun, Albert Sambi-Lokonga, Nuno Tavares, Cedric Soares and Marquinhos.
Pepe had little success with Arsenal, after becoming the club's record signing in 2019 for £72 million, and has recently spent the season on loan at Ligue 1 side, Nice. Out of contract in 2024, Arsenal are desperately looking to find a way to make back some of the money they spent on the Ivorian.
Balogun, who had a very successful season on loan to Reims last year, scoring 21 goals, is believed to be valued by the club at £50 million, report the outlet. The Hale End graduate would give the green light to a move, as he wants to guaranteed minutes, something he wouldn't necessarily get with the London side, who have Gabriel Jesus starting up front, and Eddie Nketiah as second choice.
Sambi-Lokonga, Tavares and Soares have never managed to find their strides at Arsenal, and the club are hoping to either find them more loan moves, or get permanent sales agreed. The same goes for Marquinhos, who spent the season on loan at Norwich City, and feels expendable to the London side.
