Arsenal not giving up on Raphinha at Arteta's request

Mikel Arteta has insisted on Raphinha becoming one of the signings of the winter for Arsenal, 'Sport' reports. The Spanish manager believes that he would be the perfect man to bolster a frightening attack.
The Brazilian winger has been one of the names on Arsenal's radar since last summer. However, he ended up joining Barcelona.
The reality is that his performances have been worse than expected. Raphinha has struggled to adapt, but he does not want to leave Barcelona yet, so it seems difficult for him to depart this January.
Raphinha's aim is to become an important player for Xavi Hernandez and fight for a starting spot with Dembele. The Frenchman is clearly ahead of him at the moment.
Barca are not ruling out selling him as he is quite a valuable player in the market although he will stay at the Camp Nou for now. Arsenal will try again in the summer.
