Arsenal will hear offers for Thomas Partey

Arsenal are looking for change in their midfield. The departure of Granit Xhaka looks like it will be a done deal soon, with the Swiss international very likely to make a move to Bayer Leverkusen. Now Arsenal will reportedly hear offers for Thomas Partey, Xhaka's teammate in the midfield.
It's no secret that the Gunners' priority this summer is West Ham skipper Declan Rice, and coach Mikel Arteta is looking to rebuild and reshape his midfield around the Englishman. The Premier League runners-up are continuing talks with West Ham and 'Daily Mail' reports that they are also interested in Southapmton's Romeo Lavia.
If this is the case, Partey would be surplus to Arteta's plans, and the club may be looking to sell him to cushion their summer spending. The Ghanaian joined the London side in 2020 from Atletico Madrid and has made 99 appearances since then, netting five goals for his club.
Arsenal are also looking now to move for Chelsea's Kai Havertz, who has given the green light to the deal, and seems keen to move the move to north London.
