The Spanish Olympic team arrived in Bordeaux on Wednesday to continue their preparations for the Olympic Games, where they will play a warm-up closed-door match against the United States on Thursday at 18:00 CEST (-2 GMT).
The match will take place at the Cite sportif du Girondins de Bordeaux and will be the only test Santi Denia's side will face before their Olympic debut on 24 July against Uzbekistan at the Parc des Princes in Paris.
The Spanish national team travelled from Madrid to Bordeaux on Wednesday with the novelty of Alex Baena, who is already under the orders of Santi Denia after winning the European Championship last Sunday. The other EURO winner who will also play in the Olympic Games is Fermin Lopez, who will join the training camp on Friday in Paris, five days before the opening match against Uzbekistan.
After this match, Spain will return to Bordeaux for their next two group matches on 27 July against the Dominican Republic and 30 July against Egypt. All three matches are at 15.00 CEST.
