Barcelona are in a very complicated situation. With just three days to go until the start of La Liga 2023-24, the club have only 13 players registered and are working to resolve the situation before their opener against Getafe on Sunday.
Rafael Yuste, Barcelona's sporting vice-president, spoke to 'TV3' ahead of the Joan Gamper Trophy and acknowledged Dembele's absence for the clash against Tottenham: "We are negotiating with PSG and we hope that everything will come to fruition soon".
Yuste also discussed the problems with registrations: "We have been working on it for some time and soon there will be good news. The idea is to make it effective before Sunday. We are going to register everyone".
And finally, Yuste, who assured that he had a great impression of the Lluis Companys Olympic Stadium - Barca's home for the season - 'passed' on the rumours about the possible return of Neymar: "I'm not here to feed rumours. We have a competitive team, let people enjoy the young players and the signings", he concluded.
