Barcelona are clear that no one is going to make Lamine Yamal leave the club. The Catalan giants have secured the future of their attack by getting the young Spaniard to sign a new three-year contract.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the promising youngster already signed this new deal last July secretly, but the formal signature will be given on Monday.
In addition, the Italian journalist specialised in the transfer market confirmed that the the 'Cules' prodigy's release clause will be 1 billion pounds, just like the one they included in the new contract of another of their young stars, Gavi.
The youngest debutant in Spain and Barcelona's history has been playing an increasingly important role in Xavi Hernandez's squad at the age of 16. Lamine Yamal has made 9 official appearances this season so far, 4 of them as a starter.
