Barcelona may be getting their leading goal-scorer back for their next game. Robert Lewandowski wants to return for Xavi's side ahead of next Sunday's game against Athletic Bilbao.
'Cadena SER' have reported that the Pole thinks he could be available for the next league game. Lewandowski picked up a hamstring injury against Almeria.
The number 9 missed one of the season's most important games, the El Clasico first leg in the Copa del Rey against Real. Despite that, Barcelona walked out 0-1 victors at the Bernabeu.
What is interesting is that the two games the Polish striker missed with his latest injury have been the same result, a 1-0 win whilst keeping a cleen sheet.
Having said that, Barcelona have a harder time without him on the pitch. They've tried Ferran Torres and Ansu Fati up front, but neither of the two have matched the former's level.
In fact, in their last two games, Barcelona have only had six shots on target, with two game plans completely different from one another.
