According to 'Marca', Spanish giants Barcelona are set on renewing the contract of Ousmane Dembele until 2028. The outlet reports the first meetings between the club and the player's agents took place a few weeks ago.
The French winger, who has been at the club since the 2017/18 season has been tipped as one of the possible replacements of Sergio Busquets, as the Spaniard will be leaving the club this summer.
Dembele clearly has the trust of the club's coach Xavi Hernandez, and has provided 14 G/A for the side this season in all competitions.
'Marca' reports that the renewal looks likely as the Frenchman has expressed his own interest in staying with the club next season and beyond.
