Exiled from Manchester United, Mason Greenwood joined Getafe on a season-long loan and it is paying off. The young striker is excelling in La Liga, having scored four goals and provided three assists in just 13 domestic appearances.
The 22-year-old was arrested for allegedly raping and assaulting his ex-partner in January 2022 and was suspended by the Red Devils until the case was resolved. The charges, however, were dropped by the Crown Prosecution Service in February.
However, it does not look like the young rising star has a future at the Mancunian club, but he may have a future at another big team even if he does not have a good reputation at his current parent club.
Due to his flying start to the season with the Spanish side, La Liga giants Real Madrid and Barcelona and Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are monitoring his situation, according to '90min'.
Getafe president Corres already revealed that they would try to make the young striker's stay at the club permanent, claiming that he "believes in him quite a lot".
