Bayern Munich want to make headlines in the transfer market. The Bavarian club, according to their president Herbert Hainer, have sent a message to the rest of Europe.
"We are going to spend a lot of money, we haven't spent any so far," the Bayern Munich boss was quoted as saying in 'Bild' about the market that is about to start.
The Teutonic team has made two additions: "We have landed Laimer and Guerreiro. We are looking for a striker and as soon as we find a player with some quality, we will let you know.
"Thomas Tuchel also has something to say about that. He can spend 100 million, but then everything has to be right. We are looking for a striker, but they are hard to find. They are all quite expensive. Everything has to fit," he added.
Hainer regretted not finding a replacement for Lewandowski: "In hindsight, you can say it didn't work out. Lewandowski scored 30-40 goals this season, we lost him. It didn't work out the way we thought it would," he said.
"With Lucas Hernandez we are in talks and we have also supported him very closely during the rehabilitation period. Anyone who saw him at the title celebrations saw that he is not unhappy here," he said.
