Bayern Munich are already preparing their plan B in case Joshua Kimmich decides to join Barcelona. The German's replacement could be West Ham midfielder Declan Rice.
Chairman Herbert Hainer was asked about the German side's possible interest in the West Ham skipper: "Our scouts are keeping an eye on several players. We are holding several talks to make the right decision," he told 'Bild'.
Joshua Kimmich wants to follow in Robert Lewandowski's footsteps and sign for Xavi Hernandez's side. The German board have already secured the services of Konrad Laimer and Raphael Guerreiro for next season and now have 100 million euros to continue signing new players.
West Ham are listening to the different offers they are receiving for the midfielder because they have already admitted that the Englishman is likely to leave in the summer. Both Arsenal and Manchester United are interested in him.
