Bayern interested in signing Lenglet from Barcelona

Clement Lenglet was signed by Aston Villa on loan from Barcelona in the summer transfer window. However, the 28-year-old is not finding his feet in the Premier League. So much so that he has yet to play a match for Unai Emery's side in the English top-flight this season.
As a result, the French defender could be looking for a new destination in the coming months as he is not getting the playing time he expected at the Birmingham club.
According to 'Mundo Deportivo', Bayern Munich are keeping an eye on him because they believe they could give the Frenchman a prominent role in the Bundesliga. The German giants already strengthened their attack in the summer transfer window after signing Harry Kane.
For this reason, they want to bolster their defence to continue their run of good results. Lenglet could take the place of Matthijs De Ligt, who is suffering from a knee injury, at Bayern.
