With Jamal Musiala's contract with Bayern expiring in 2026, European giants have been monitoring the player, hoping to secure him on a free deal should an agreement not be on a new deal. Jamal Musiala has been at the centre of transfer talks in recent weeks. The German star's contract with Bayern Munich is set to expire in 2026, and as fears of losing him for free loom, the Bavarians are on full alert to renew the forward.
Premier League giants, as well as Real Madrid, have been keeping tabs on Musiala, hoping to pounce on the 21-year-old should an agreement on the contract renewal not be found between the two parties.
Nevertheless, the German side are growing confident in getting the deal done. “I’m very confident to get new deal done for Jamal Musiala," said Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl. After initially admitting that deal could be difficult to seal, Eberl admitted that that things have taken a positive turns, as he said: "something is happening here and Jamal is noticing that too. He should become a face of Bayern, I’m optimistic. I don’t see why he should leave the club”.
Musiala has been key for Bayern in recent season, as the club have publicly stated their full-intention to keep the player. So far this season, Musiala counts 3 goals and 2 assists from 8 appearances.
