Chelsea became the big star of the winter transfer window, especially when they announced a last-minute deal with Benfica for Enzo Fernandez for 121 million euros.
Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic criticised the "madness" that the Blues have committed throughout the transfer window.
"For us, those amounts are out of our minds. When we have the opportunity to sign a top Bundesliga player, we always think about how to offset the transfer costs," Salihamidzic told 'Bild'.
He insisted that the Bavarian club cannot "spend 600 million". "We know that we cannot compete financially with clubs like Chelsea, but we also know that Bayern are attractive to many players because of their style of play, their success, their history and the atmosphere around the club," he said.
