BREAKING: Real Madrid's Joselu set to join Qatari side Al Gharafa

He arrived with a low profile and ended up winning over all Real Madrid fans. That has been the story of Joselu Mato at the 'Merengues' who, after the departure of Karim Benzema, preferred to use the Spanish striker as a backup and wait for Mbappe rather than make a big outlay. But everything seems to indicate that the story has been brief and is about to end.
The 'COPE' channel reports on Monday that Joselu will not be playing for 'Los Blancos' next season. If he was already a rotation player with Vinicius and Rodrygo as strikers, the Stuttgart-born player understands that with the arrival of Kylian Mbappe and the young Endrick he will have even less chances to play and prefers to look for a new destination.
The No 14 arrived on loan last summer after being relegated to the second division with Espanyol. The agreement with Real Madrid included an option to buy him for one and a half million euros, which the club were willing to pay.
