Brobbey denies Man United link-up rumours

Manchester United are planning their January transfer window to strengthen their squad as they find themselves in an unexpected situation after putting in poor performances in the first half of the campaign.
The English side are looking to bolster their attack as they have struggled to find the net in recent matches. Rasmus Hojlund, who was signed in the summer to take an important role in attack, is not quite living up to the board's expectations.
As a result, they are willing to find reinforcements in the winter transfer window. According to the 'Daily Mail', Ajax forward Brian Brobbey was the main contender to join Erik ten Hag's side in January. However, the 21-year-old has denied rumours of his departure.
"I saw it on the news but I will stay in Amsterdam. I have no contact with Erik [Ten Hag]. We used to text through WhatsApp, but I think Erik is busy. I have a new number as well. Would they be allowed to come back in the summer? Haha, who knows," he said.
