Capello outlines why Zirkzee is struggling at Man United
Fabio Capello explained that the reason why Zirkzee is struggling to make an impact an Manchester United is because the Premier League is a more intense league than the Serie A, where he played last season with Bologna.

After lighting up Serie A with his stand out performances at Bologna, Joshua Zirkzee has not been able to prove himself at Man United so far. The Dutchman joined the Red Devils this summer for a deal worth £37 million after registering 19 G/A with the 'Rossoblu' last season.
So far at United, he has only managed to contribute in three occasions from 13 matches, thus making people wonder why the striker is struggling to make an impact at Old Trafford. Former Real Madrid boss Fabio Capello has shared his take on Zirkzee's situation.
“After Bologna’s defeat at Aston Villa, I asked Vincenzo Italiano (Bologna manager) what impression he had of the two English teams he faced immediately, Aston Villa and Liverpool. He replied: ‘They run, they go faster, they have a different pace," Capello began, as he highlighted the differences between the two leagues.
“Go watch Zirkzee play in the Premier League and tell me if he seems like the same player we admired in Bologna – in Italy, he did what he wanted. In England, he doesn’t even have time to think about the play before the ball is stolen from him. More or less the same thing happens to our teams," he told 'Gazzetta dello Sport'.
Zirkzee's lack of impact could cost him a place in the starting XI as he faces stiff competition from Rasmus Hojlund. The ex-Atalanta man has been on target in twice from his previous three starts in all competitions for Man United after recovering from his muscle injury.
