Conference League draw underway!

14:05: Giorgio Marchetti is on stage once again. He stressed the fact that every club got at least two points and that there were more goals in this season's group stage than last season's.
14:03: Belgium and Italy are the only countries to have two teams in the draw. As they both finished runners-up in the Conference League, the only "prohibited" tie is Fiorentina v Lazio.

14:00: Conference League draw underway!
13:49: Roma beat Feyenoord in last season's final and the Italians are in the Europa League this time around so we will have a new name on the trophy.
13:46: There was no VAR in this competition until the semis last year and once again it has absent in the group stage. Cologne were very unhappy with the officiating in their crucial defeat to Nice on the last day and UEFA refereeing head Roberto Rosetti mentioned in an interview with a Dutch newspaper that VAR would bre used in the knockouts. There is nothing official as of yet though.
13:45: The eight winners will join Istanbul Baseksehir, West Ham, Villarreal, Nice, AZ Alkmaar, Djurgardens, Sivasspor and Slovan Bratislava in the last 16.
13:44: The Europa League third placed sides are Bodo/Glimt, AEK Larnaca, Ludogorets, Braga, Sheriff, Lazio, Qarabag and Trabzonspor.
13:41: The Conference League group runners-up are Fiorentina, Anderlecht, Lech Poznan, Partizan Belgrade, Dnipro, Gent, CFR Cluj and Basel.
13:40: A reminder that this season's final will take place at the Fortuna Arena in Prague on 7th June.
13:39: The knockout round ties will be played on 16th and 23rd February.
13:39: A reminder that the eight teams who came second in their Conference League group will face a third placed team from the Europa League. Teams from the same country cannot be drawn together and the teams who came second in the Conference League will host the second leg.
