Dembele dropped from Barca squad against Spurs

Ousmane Dembele remains with one foot out the door of Barcelona, but remains one of their players, ahead of an agreement being officially reached with Paris Saint-Germain.
While the world waits for the announcement, with five days to go before the league starts, the Catalan side are getting ready to face Tottenham on Tuesday night for the Joan Gamper trophy. A match that will reportedly be played without the French international.
According to 'Sport', Xavi Hernandez and the suits at Barcelona have decided not to call Dembele up for the match, so that he doesn't get injured or booed and steal the spotlight at the gala match.
The decision could also mean that the Spaniards have finally reached an agreement with the Ligue 1 champions and Dembele could shortly be announced as a new PSG player.
