After three seasons at AC Milan, Olivier Giroud is nearing the end of his time with the Italian club. With just four games left in Serie A and the French striker already knows where he will be heading this summer: to Los Angeles FC in the MLS.
The French media have already taken it for granted and now it is France coach Didier Deschamps himself who has confirmed the striker's departure to the United States: "Olivier has made a sporting and vital decision. Despite his age and experience, he still has that fire inside him.
"Maybe it's also an opportunity, beyond reuniting with Hugo (Lloris) and his family. He wants to continue his career but at a slightly lower level than in Europe," the coach added in an interview with 'AFP'.
