Espinosa renews with Girona until 2024

Girona defender Bernardo Espinosa has reached an agreement with his club to extend his contract until 2024 as his contract was due to expire in June.
The 33-year-old joined the Catalan club in 2017 from Middlesbrough. The centre-back has played 163 competitive matches since his arrival at the club.
There have been 78 matches in La Liga, 70 matches in the Second Division, 11 in Copa del Rey and four in the La Liga promotion phase.
Espinosa has played 14 competitive matches in his fifth season with Girona.
