Everton confirm Nkounkou's departure

The Everton board confirmed that French full-back Niels Nkounkou will continue his career at Ligue 2 side Saint-Etienne via social media.
"Niels Nkounkou has been recalled from his loan at Cardiff City and joined Saint-Etienne for the remainder of the season. Best of luck, Niels!," they wrote on Twitter.
Nkounkou emerged from Olympique Marseille's academy and Everton signed him. However, the Frenchman was never given a chance in the first team and went out on loan twice: Standard Liege and Cardiff City.
Now, the young full-back will go out on loan again and will continue his career at Ligue 2 side Saint-Etienne.
