FIFA will not approve Julian Araujo's move to Barcelona

The January transfer window is now over and clubs are looking ahead to the second half of the season. However, Barcelona were still hoping to be able to bolster their squad with another defender.
The man chosen was Julian Araujo of La Galaxy. However, the documentation required reached 18 seconds late due to an IT error. Nevertheless, Barcelona tried to appeal to FIFA.
Despite that, 'Mundo Deportivo' says that FIFA will not Barca complete the signing. FIFA says that the rules were not followed and no exception will be given.
LA Galaxy coach Grey Vanney had admitted that he had conceded defeat on the Mexican defender. He even trained on his own last Thursday given his immediate departure. However, that is no longer happening.
