Former Man City star Aguero praises Foden's 'special talent'

Phil Foden's season has come as no surprise to those who follow him, the player was named the Premier League Player of the Season and the Football Writers' Association Footballer of the Year.
One of his former teammates at Manchester City when he was still very young had some words of praise for the English player.
Sergio Aguero, who is playing the TST 2024 in the United States, has spoken about the Sky Blues star, who has scored 27 goals and provided 13 assists this season.
“Without a doubt Phil Foden is my favourite player. He is the player who, when I saw him come to the first team for the first time, I saw his quality, his talent and his liveliness at such a young age,” said Aguero.
“I think that at 16 he has improved a little with the team and he did things as a kid that made it clear that in the Premier League he could do very well. One time Pep Guardiola asked me who was the player (in the Academy) at City that I believed in.
“I would like to meet him again and play because I think he has a huge future at City and I believe that today he is the most complete player that City has," concluded Aguero.
Now a more mature player, Foden is in the England squad, where he is a favourite to win the EURO title which kick off on 15 June and where he will play a key role in Southgate's plans for the ‘Three Lions’.
