Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone can count again on Gabriel Paulista, who has recovered from a sprained ankle and returned to work with the group on Thursday. He is ready for next Saturday's La Liga game against Mallorca after missing the previous match against Athletic Club.
The return of the Brazilian centre-back reduces the Argentinian coach's list of absentees for the clash at Son Moix to three players: Memphis Depay and Thomas Lemar, through injury, plus Antoine Griezmann, suspended for picking up five yellow cards.
Neither Depay, who has been suffering from a muscle injury since 6 April, nor Lemar, who has been out of action since 16 September due to a ruptured right Achilles tendon, took part in Thursday morning's training session at Atletico's training complex.
The Spanish side are fourth in the table on 64 points, ahead of Athletic on 58 points, which means they are close to clinching the final Champions League spot.
